Our goal is to provide all Chamba HELIX students with the skills/tools needed to be an independent problem solver in all areas of your life. To accomplish this Chamba HELIX has created a system of accountability where the players set their goals and create their own plans on how to achieve them. This will include individual player meetings with staff and course work for their Chamba HELIX Notebook. The student's Notebook will be a blueprint for success that can be adapted for life outside the lines.

 

Chamba HELIX will customize a development program for groups and/or player’s specific goals. Through a series of evaluation sessions each group and/or player can be provided with an action plan/program to acquire the skills needed to reach the next level of play.  As players progress and complete both the physical challenges and study criteria they will receive certificates of accomplishment. 

Leadership: Chamba HELIX students will be provided with opportunities to serve in leadership roles at training sessions and various events throughout the year.

 

Community Service: Students can learn by giving back to the community

through local and international events and missions to help the less fortunate.  

Chamba HELIX has formed a partnership with Inter-United to help 

fund impovrished communities located in Haiti, China and Kenya.

Through the love of the game of soccer, Inter-United has developed friendships

locally and globally to promote hope, love and change around the world.

  • Individuality – Knowing who you are and why what you bring is important;

  • Belief – Unwavering faith that you can accomplish individual/team goals;

  • Consciousness – Having a realistic understanding of how you relate to the world around you;

  • Accountability – Holding yourself accountable for who you are and the things that happen to you.

Those who choose to complete a series of challenging course work will qualify for honorary awards to be worn as symbols of achievement. Members enrolled in the gain exposure to the program’s education system and training facilities which will provide essential lessons to develop character, strong work habits, organization skills, amongst many other life lessons.

Personal Character: Principle beliefs in one’s self to be a positive force, team player with a good work ethic and the desire/heart to reach the next level are some of the building blocks and foundation of an athlete’s success on and off the field. The Champa Helix Program offers players the opportunity to be mentored by highly experienced soccer trainers, who instill guiding principles that promote positive character development through creativity, cognitive learning, and base principles including:

We live in a country of millions, where only a few hundred athletes get the chance to play the game at the highest level. There may be many more athletes that are just as fast, just as strong, and just as technically sound as these athletes. However this "special" group of players sees things through a different set of lenses than the rest and are considered atypical, a true phenomena, or if you like superhuman.

 

The normal player never makes it far past where their natural ability takes them. The above average player moves up a level or two and becomes satisfied. The special players, "the superhumans", are never satisfied and often make it far past where their natural ability says they should be. It is this psychological advantage that truly dictates how far you can go in the game. While some are born with this mind set others have to develop it. By choosing to be a part of our group you have already taken the right step by deciding that you are different. This is about becoming your own life coach.
